Our story

At the young age of 14 and 15, I would spend hours upon hours watching YouTube videos and TV adverts featuring products that promised me clear and glowy skin. I wasn't allowed to purchase those products as tempting as it was. Instead, I stuck to Indian beauty secrets derived from Ayurveda—ingredients such as aloe vera, chickpea flour, turmeric, yoghurt etc. Even though I was sceptical and felt it was gross to put these ingredients on my face, I eventually tried them and after 6-12 months of care and persistence, my skin had started to clear up and was glowing more than ever! It was then that I realized the true power of these Ayurvedic herbs and their ability to transform our bodies and minds as well bringing out our skin's natural beauty.

So, I had the idea of creating a beauty brand featuring this. Growing up, I did not see the South Asian culture and heritage represented in the beauty and skincare industries.

The process began when I finished high school. I started to create my dream beauty brand that really focuses on featuring Ayurvedic ingredients combined with active ingredients.

Now, after a lot hard work, we have finally launched our first product.

It is naturally derived, vegan, cruelty free and made in Australia.

In terms of sustainability, we constantly strive to do our best in order to keep the environment safe. Our product is in a container made out of glass so that it can be reused. All our packaging material is recyclable and compostable.

Kaira means unique in Hindi and Sanskrit, opportune in German and pure and sweet in Arabic. All positive attributes✨

We value differences in race, culture and imperfections in terms of beauty and how we look. 🧡

There are beauty standards which we feel we need to uphold, however, just remember you are perfect the way you are! 😍

Together we need to recognise and celebrate the beauty in ourselves. 🫶🏾
